However as everyone may visit the place, there are Dos and Dont's; and here are the Dos, much better to familiarize yourself with Filipino words, intearct with the locals, to research about the place. While the Don'ts are: disrespecting the culture and elders, throwing out garbages, spitting and littering and to distract natural resources. With the rich culture of Philippines can be seen in Batanes, of how every Filipinos engrossed to the idea of preserving the culture and the places we're given by. With its 16,000 ivatan culture inhabitants to which they believed that their place is the descendants of brave seaferers from Formosa which is now Taiwan (Google). You can also observe to them how peaceful the place is and how friendly the locals there to every tourists, indeed batanes is one of the best places in the Philippines that anyone can visit.
